Aloftylife's Breakfast Bowl

I usually like to start my day with a bowl of oats. I am not talking about "porridge". From the look and texture of warm oatmeal, I never had the desire to make this dish. I pour my organic oats, add my seed mix (chia, poppy, sesame & flax seed), add organic blueberries, sliced banana and whatever other soft fruit I find in my fruit box. I sprinkle my homemade granola or if I'm out, then I add some almonds, cashews or walnuts to the bowl. If I feel like it I add dried cranberries, goji or golden berries. If i'm really creative I add some coconut shreds & cocoa powder & hemp seeds. The best ones I can find in Switzerland is from the powernuts company located in Basel. Once I've got all my condiments, I pour my vegetable milk, I'd go for soy milk. Oat milk is usual my go to, however I believe it would be a bit of an Oat overload. 

 

 

 

 

 

You cannot go wrong with Avocado on Homemade Seed Bread

Freedom Loaf bread is probably the tastiest and most filling seed bread I've ever had in my life. I was introduced to this at the GoGreen festival in Auckland NZ. 

Ingredients: Oats, water, sunflower seeds, linseed, pumpkin seeds*, psyllium husks*, chia seeds, coconut oil*, coconut sugar*, salt.  (*organic) 

and those are the ingredients! how healthy and SO filling. 

 

So, find a similar bread like this, or even better, try to make it, then take a half of avocado (fair trade & organic) slice the avocado in its shell then spoon it out. You will see if you carefully scoop it out with a spoon, the slices will come out perfectly onto your piece of toast. 

Add some roasted sliced almonds, sprinkle some hemp seeds, add pomegranates seeds to add a little colour and take your homemade balsamic dressing to make a nice spread over your two pieces of toast. Everyday, my avocado on toast looks and tastes different. I get bored if it is always the same. Depending on my mood that day, I will try new ways to make my beautiful avocado toast interesting.
